Hallow Be Your Name…

The Lord’s Prayer

When Jesus’ disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray, He taught them a model prayer which we know today as the Lord’s Prayer, By model, we mean following its structure or outline is beneficial to ensuring that our prayers are effective.

Our Father…

Not only is Yahweh God the Maker of the heavens and the earth, and everything therein, He has also revealed Himself to us a loving Father. He is not a distant God as some would want us to believe, who created us and left us to our own devices, never having a care or concern about man’s affairs. God desires, like all fathers should, to have a meaningful, intentional relationship with all of His children. Even when we feel most unworthy of being called His son or His daughter, (in much the same way the prodigal son felt unworthy before his father because of the things he had done in his life and the disdain he had shown his father before), God’s desire is welcome all his children into the fold of his bossom, where they can find refuge under his wings. Ref. Luke 15:11-32, Psalms 91:4, Psalms 68:5, 1 John 3:10

God desires… to have a meaningful, intentional relationship with all of His children.
